Logo Design Contest

The Castle Rock Arts and Culture Foundation invites local artists, students, and community members to design our official logo. This community-wide contest is an opportunity to help shape the Foundation’s visual identity with a design that reflects the arts, culture, creativity, and spirit of Castle Rock.

Guidelines

Entries must:

  • Include the name “Castle Rock Arts and Culture Foundation”

  • Work in both full color and black-and-white

  • Be suitable for both print and digital formats

  • Be scalable for use in small and large applications

  • Be entirely original (no clip art, stock images, or copyrighted material)

File requirements:

  • High-resolution PNG or JPG (minimum 300 dpi)

  • Vector file (AI, EPS, or SVG) if available

  • Up to three designs may be submitted per artist

Eligibility

  • Open to residents within the Castle Rock region

  • Participants under 18 must include a signed parental consent form

Submission Process

Submit entries via email to: maia@castlerockarts.org

Use subject line: Logo Contest Entry – [Your Name]

Include the following in your email:

  • Full name

  • Age and school (if under 18)

  • Mailing address

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Optional: Short description (maximum 250 words) explaining your design approach or concept

Prizes and Recognition

  • $100 gift card for the winning artist

  • Public recognition on the Foundation’s website, social media, and related press releases.

  • Winning logo will be featured as the official logo of the Castle Rock Arts and Culture Foundation

Timeline

·       December – Contest Announced

·       January 15, 2026 – Submission Deadline

·       January & February 2026 – Judging

·       March 1, 2026 – Winner Announced

Judging

Judges:

·       Castle Rock Arts and Culture Foundation Board Members

·       Local arts and culture representatives

·       Town staff (as available)

Criteria:

·       Artistic quality

·       Creativity

·       Relevance to arts, culture, and Castle Rock

·       Versatility across formats and uses

Legal

·       The winning artist agrees to transfer full copyright and usage rights to the Castle Rock Arts and Culture Foundation

·       All entries may be displayed publicly with credit to the artist

·       Non-winning entries remain the property of the artist unless otherwise agreed upon
